As a boy of four, what I believed to be shooting stars leaving streaks across the sky, turned out to be artillery shells fired by the enemy as another war broke of between India and Pakistan.

Too much for an introduction?

As it turns out to be, this is one of my earliest memories that I remember vividly. Others being trapping dragonflies in a jar every evening to be used as my own reading lamp and drinking ice cold water from a stream that was so clear that I could see the fish rush past my face as I dunked my face to take a drink.

Somewhere I’m still the same wide-eyed boy, trying to see stars where most see fire.10 years into advertising has made that boy into a writer who thinks visually and loves to be a collector & teller of stories, sharer of songs and recipes and someone who thrives at the intersection of culture and storytelling.

And through my work, I shall always seek to discover universal stories that connect us all.
